Jennifer Nelson shares a message called “Magic in the Margin.” This is not just for moms or women, but for anyone who wants to leave room in their lives for God to work.

Throughout this unprecedented time, most of us can say that we have learned or relearned something. We will study one of the most quoted scriptures in the Bible. Hopefully, it will help us discover how much is "Enough."

Pastor Chad taks about how and why we need to "Praise in the Tribulation."

It’s been said you can tell a lot about a person’s relationship with God by how they respond when they make a mistake. They either run to the Father or away from Him. We look at a big mistake Peter made at the biggest moment in his life & how Jesus responded. Which way do you run?

We celebrate the weekend that changed everything. In the sermon we explore the difference between knowing about Jesus vs. knowing Jesus.

Jesus was able to endure all the suffering on the cross because he was able to zoom out and see you! Should we zoom in or zoom out in life? Jesus provided the answer for us on the cross.

The Gap.jpg

What is the Biblical response when there is a gap between what we have and what we need? How should we pray?

After many years of hearing God’s call to plant a church in Metro Detroit, Chad and Jennifer Nelson and their family moved from a lead pastor role in Missouri back to Michigan. Without jobs or a home, they watched as God provided for their needs in miraculous ways. After that, God opened doors for them to be able to worship in the newly renovated and historical Emerald Theatre in Downtown Mount Clemens. After months of outreach and assembling a core team of servants, they held their first service on Easter Sunday, April 2017. Throughout the next few months, they prepared for a Grand Opening service on Sunday, September 10th, 2017.

The story of Journey Church continues to be written as we “invite our community on a Journey to discover Jesus.” We are passionate about helping people who are far from God to know Him and discover His plan for their lives.
